What was in my hair product review!

If you follow me on instagram, you have seen my side puff I wore on Christmas day and then my high puff I wore a week later! I used some new products to achieve these looks and I would like to give you my review on them. If you have used these products before please share your experience below in the comments!

Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy Cream
-It softens & moisturizes extra dry, coarse hair. I have to agree, this product does just that and has staying power. Wash day for me are on Sundays so I moisturized my hair with the product and did the banding method with rubber bands to stretch my hair out. I kept my hair in the bands all day Monday and took them down that night. I then chunky two strand twisted my hair so it would have some definition to it for my side puff I wore that Tuesday. The consistency is very thick but smooth and creamy like a thick lotion. It can be applied to wet hair and is not too stiff. It has a nice light lemon scent to it and is not over powering. I can't say this product has any hold to it but it stands up to its claims of moisturizing extra dry, coarse hair.

-If you are looking for an excellent moisturizer with great staying power, then this product is for you. My hair stayed moisturized till Thursday without needing to add any extra product. Also, if you want a soft hold look like chunky twists then this is for you. I must warn you if your hair is thin, or low porosity this maybe too heavy for you. Would I purchase this in the future? Yes! absolutely. I was able to test this out from swapping with a fellow curlie in a swap group I'm a member of on Facebook so I jumped at the chance to get to sample this product. I listed it as one of my favorites of 2012. As of right now, this is the best moisturizer besides my homemade whipped shea I've ever used! My hair was so soft and infused with moisture I couldn't stop touching it. I give it 5 stars and I highly recommend it if you're in need of a great moisturizer!

Krystal Eco Styler Gel
-There's not much to say to the product claims because I'm sure everyone has had or tired Eco styler gel at some point in their journey. This one claims to give a max hold and I can agree it does that. I have used the olive oil Eco styler gel in the past and hate it because it does not play well with other products and creates flakes and becomes tacky looking in the hair. This product was applied to my hair after I wore my braid out and did not have a bad reaction to the products in my hair. It didn't flake up or dry my hair out. If I find a product that doesn't react well with it, I will let you all know but for what I need it for and it doing what it claims to do I give it 5 stars! I would recommend it because it seems to play nice with other products such as leave-ins and stylers and has a nice light clean fragrance.

Have any of you tried these products? What are your favorite gels to use or moisturizers? Feel free to comment below!
