WNHS 2015 Haul

I had the BEST time at the World Natural Hair Show this year! It was bigger, better, and the deals were great! Not to mention the timing just happened to be perfect for me and my refund lol. But, this post isn't about the show as I will do a video re-cap of that soon. This post is all about the products I snagged! I mean.. it seems like a lot (vets you all know I always start off with that) but the deals were too sweet to pass up such as 2 for $20 or the entire LottaBody line for $10!! Yes! So the following will be the products I picked up and yes I went both days and attended two other events out side of the hair show and which had some amazing swag bags.

If you could do me a favor and list your top **3** brands in the comments you would like to see a review of, that'll help me make a list of what order to test/review which line in. Now before we get to the haul, I have more products which will be part of my everything else haul and based on what you want to see the most of between both hauls will be bumped up to the top of the list! Now onto the haul!!

Curl Centric Curly Kids Coloring Book

I have had the pleasure to get a sneak peak and interview the creator of the Curl Centric Curly Kids Coloring Book. I was more than thrilled when she asked me would I be interested in collaborating to help spread the word of their new business venture. Now I personally like the idea but I wanted to do some research on my own to get others opinions. I was given four sample pictures and without telling them my involvement, I let some of my co-workers who either have natural kids or are close to some natural kids look at the sample coloring book pictures. They all were really impressed and thought it was a great idea for the little girls to have a coloring book that actually featured characters that looked like them!
Now, I know what you're thinking.. of course the moms/adult figures are all for it because when we were growing up, there was nothing like this for us. So, I decided to ask an expert who is growing up with some (better than non) representations of characters that look like her.

Chrisette Michele's Pose 'N Post Symposium

"Do you wanna build your social media following and increase your online presence? Wanna meet the coolest influencers in your city and make new friends? Pose N Post Symposium is the tour for YOU!" -Chrisette Michele.

When I read those three questions, I didn't hesitate for one second if I would or wouldn't be attending this tour when they stopped in Atlanta, Georgia. Location, date, price, non of those factors crossed my mind because I knew I would be there and this would be a great networking and learning experience for me. Due to the success of this 10 city tour, Chrisette Michele will be continuing on with a mid-west leg of the tour and I highly suggest anyone located and able to attend one of the events in a city near you, you should most definitely attend.

Belle Amour Blends Hemp Seed Styling Cream Review

Belle Amour Blends is a small black owned business that specializes in natural and organic beauty products including: hair care, skin care, and bath products. I had never heard of the company before until I was on Youtube and was watching a Mo Knows Hair video where she used the Hemp Seed Styling Cream by Belle Amour Blends to do a twist out. The two things that instantly attracted me to the product was first the results that were achieved and secondly, the fact that it included one of my favorite ingredients, hemp seed oil. The following video shows how Mo Knows Hair used it on her client for styling as well as some great tips on how to recover from a long term protective style:

Favorite Hair Products of 2014

Happy New Year!!!! Yes, it's still January so I can still say that lol. First blog post of 2015 and I thought I would start this year off with giving a brief overview of my favorite products I used during 2014. This favorites' post is much different than previous years. I am only including the *new* products I used this year as well as a few revisits that I have no idea why I stopped using them. I still have quite a large stash of products to get through but I did a pretty good job in 2014 of trying a lot of my purchased items as well as using up a nice dent in my overall stash. So, no apologies for being MIA as always you can follow me on Instagram @BesosFeron where I post almost daily and also do mini product reviews. If there is a product that you would like a full review on, comment below and I'll be sure to do so or leave a comment on the blog post picture on Instagram and I can respond to you directly. Now, here are my new favorite products from 2014:
