Favorite Hair Products of 2014

Happy New Year!!!! Yes, it's still January so I can still say that lol. First blog post of 2015 and I thought I would start this year off with giving a brief overview of my favorite products I used during 2014. This favorites' post is much different than previous years. I am only including the *new* products I used this year as well as a few revisits that I have no idea why I stopped using them. I still have quite a large stash of products to get through but I did a pretty good job in 2014 of trying a lot of my purchased items as well as using up a nice dent in my overall stash. So, no apologies for being MIA as always you can follow me on Instagram @BesosFeron where I post almost daily and also do mini product reviews. If there is a product that you would like a full review on, comment below and I'll be sure to do so or leave a comment on the blog post picture on Instagram and I can respond to you directly. Now, here are my new favorite products from 2014:

-Creme of Natures Moisture & Shine Shampoo; Shea Moisture JBCO Strengthen, Grow & Restore Shampoo; Shea Moisture African Black Soap Deep Cleansing Shampoo

-Shea Moisture JBCO Strengthen, Grow & Restore Treatment Masque; Bakura Vanilla Whiskey Repairing Hair Soak; Organics Hair Mayonnaise (revisit); 4 Naturals Reconstructor Deep Penetrating Conditioner

-Ynobe Shop Hibiscus and Marshmallow Leave-in Conditioner (revisit)

-Ynobe Shop Coconut Moisture Cream; Shea Moisture JBCO Leave-In Conditioner; Giovanni Direct Leave-In Conditioner; Koils by Nature Moisturizing Shealoe Leave-in Conditioner

-Cream & Coco Ice Spearmint Smoothie; Cream & Coco Black Hibiscus Tea Infused Castor Oil

-NaturaLee Hair Care Macadamia Seed Twisting Butter; Beautiful Textures Curl Control Defining Pudding; My Honey Child Hemp and Honey Spread; Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter

-Belle Amour Blends Hemp Seed Styling Cream; Camille Rose Naturals Fresh Curl Revitalizing Hair Smoother; Shea Moisture JBCO Styling Lotion

-Curls Blueberry Bliss Curl Control Paste

There you have it! If you noticed, only two of the products are revisits and the rest were *new* to me and Zoe (my hair) fell in love with them. For those of you who are new to my blog, I have thick, high density, high porosity, 4a kinky, curly hair. My hair LOVES castor oil and Hemp seed oil as well as thick butters such as shea. If you noticed, castor oil and shea butter are the two main ingredients found in almost all of the products listed. I'm three years natural now and know what my hair likes so before splurging on new products, I always look over the ingredients to see if my hair will benefit from it. Sometimes, the formula just doesn't work for me but 9 out of 10 times, sticking to what I know hasn't led me astray.

Hope you enjoyed this post and were introduced to some new products you may not have heard of. If you try any of them, let me know how they work for you! Again, if you would like to see a full product review on any of the mentioned items that I don't already have a review on, comment below or on Instagram. Till next time!
