Fall Castor Oil Challenge
Starting length for Fall Challenge |
Castor Oil is my new staple!!! I was introduced to
it thanks to the summer 2012 Castor oil challenge hosted by www.kinkycurlycoilyme.com I joined
the challenge with my friend and was very focused and dedicated. I said I would
use the oil 5x a week, and I did that. Some weeks I would exceed that. I am
still very humbled from being the grand prize winner of the summer challenge!!
I joined for healthy hair growth not thinking I actually had a chance to win.
This was such a wonderful surprise on top of my great results!!!
If you've been keeping up with me, I stated in my
"brief natural journey" post that I have serebral dermatitis. Castor
oil has healed my scalp and I haven't had a break out since I started using it.
Here are some of the major benefits from using Castor oil:
•
Is an excellent emollient and humectant
for your hair
•
Is a treatment for hair thinning and hair loss
•
Prevents the dry and itchy scalp
•
Has anti-fungal, antiviral and antibacterial
properties- so it can be effective for treating skin/scalp infections like
ringworm.
Coconut oil also has anti-fungal properties and was
the first oil I used to clear up my dermatitis but as much of you know, coconut
oil is in a solid state when it's cool but when it gets hot it begins to melt.
I was fine on cooler/cold days using the coconut oil but as soon as it started
getting hot I looked like a dripping, oily, greasy mess lol so being introduced
to Castor oil has been a life saver.
Well, as stated in my results post, I experienced
two inches of growth. My short term goal then was to reach my lip which I did
reach!! Now the fall challenge is beginning and I hope you all will join me.
You have until Wednesday, September 5 to join the fall challenge!!
Current goals:
-For the front to stretch to my chin, for the back
to stretch past my collar bone (at collar bone length now), and for my sides to
touch my shoulders.
My goals for the Fall challenge are written and I
can't go back on them. Do you plan on joining the challenge (www.kinkycurlycoilyme.com)? If so,
what are your goals? Feel free to comment below and I wish you all the best of
luck on whatever hair challenges you decide to participate in!!
Besos, Feron
I'm in and ready to WIN!
